Outdoor Goods Apparel Retailer Mockup — French Mountain Outfitters
Drupal 10 mockup demonstrating dynamic Views displays, taxonomy filtering, and AI-generated product imagery.
Project
I constructed a mockup website for a ficticious outdoor goods store called "French Mountain Outfitters," an Upstate New York-themed outdoor goods apparel retailer in the mold of REI, Eastern Mountain Sports and Sierra. The mockup was my attempt to practice building a Drupal 10 application that was constructed using a series of dynamic displays (using the views module) that filter custom content/node entities through Drupal's taxonomy system.
In addition, I also used this project to experiment with Adobe Firefly, an AI-based image generator to create pictures for all of the store's product listings with fashion models posing in front of Adirondack High Peaks backdrops.
Design & Architecture
Built in Drupal 10 — content modeled with custom content types, taxonomy vocabularies for categories and product attributes, and Views to provide filtered, paginated displays. I focused on performant queries and maintainable templates (Twig) so editors can update products and categories easily.
AI Imagery
To speed prototyping I created product photography using Adobe Firefly and composited apparel shots into Adirondack backdrops. The images were used as product thumbnails and gallery images for the marketing pages.
