"Taste of Upstate" Agri-Tourism Website Prototype
During the Pratt Figma for UX/UI course (PMCG-318), I developed a high-fidelity UX prototype of a tourism-oriented website that promotes specialty foods in the Capital District (Albany) and North Country regions of New York. The targeted audience for the hypothetical website are tourists traveling from urban centers in the Northeastern United States (NYC, Boston) who are likely seeking out regional experiences.
A substantial focus of the project was to optimize the user experience for the targeted demographics by carefully selecting colors and typefaces which were designed to invoke feelings of "rustic nostalgia." In addition, accessibility concerns were placed at the forefront throughout development with the prototype meeting AAA conformance levels during testing, the highest accessibility rating under current WCAG guidelines.
"iEnrich" Adult Contining Education Website
During the Pratt Human-Centered Design Certificate course (PMCG-850), I developed a high-fidelity UX prototype of a website which aggregates all local continuing education classes and workshops that are currently available in the area of the user. The need for such a digital service stems from the fact that many people currently find it difficult to locate in-person continuing education opportunities because course listings are often scattered across a wide variety of formats, such as websites, print catalogs and community bulletins.
The core focus of the project involved user research, interviews, affinity mapping, persona creation and the development of information architecture (IA) through sitemaps.
Coffee Shop Online Ordering App
In the Champlain College Web Design Certificate program, I developed a high-fidelity UX prototype of an online ordering app for a fictitious four-store coffee chain in the Saratoga Springs region of New York called "New Brews." The project involved creating personas and evaluating task flows from user testing to make improvements to the design of the interface.
