About Me

Photo of Colin Neal

Hello, my name is Colin Neal.

I pride myself on being both a left and right-brained solution solver. This is what led me down my current multidisciplinary career pathway to specialize in web development, graphic design and user experience (UX) design.

I am a graduate of Clarkson University with a Communication & Media BS and an Information Technology MS. Recently, I earned Certificates in Web Design and Web Programming from Champlain College and a Certificate in Human-Centered Design from the Pratt Institute.

My user experience (UX) design skills include research, affinity mapping, as well as wireframing and prototyping in Figma. Most of my web development skills involve front-end customizations of popular content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal using a variety of front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, Tailwind CSS) with JavaScript/jQuery. I also have proficiency in traditional, print-oriented graphic design workflows using the Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and QuarkXPress.

When I’m not coding or designing, you can find me shooting photography of natural landscapes throughout Upstate New York and Northern New England.
