Moreau Lake State Park

This sprawling 6,250-acre public preserve is nestled along the Upper Hudson River in the Palmertown Range of the Adirondack foothills near South Glens Falls. Popular activities include hiking, paddling, fishing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. It is here that you can take in a more nuanced version of the rustic Adirondack experience without having to actually venture across the official “blue line” of the Adirondack Park.
