Ulysses Grant Cottage

This mountainside cottage on the slope of Mount McGregor in Moreau was the final home of President Ulysses S. Grant where he spent his final weeks before dying of throat cancer in 1885. The cottage has been preserved as a museum and is open to the public during the summer months.
