An outdoor retail pedestrian walking mall, the Church Street Marketplace is the hub of Burlington’s downtown district with over 100 stores and shops, as well as dozens of restaurants and bars
The Church Street pedestrian mall was designed by Boston, MA-based Carr, Lynch Associates and opened in 1981.
In 2008, Church Street was named one of “America’s Great Public Spaces” by the American Planning Association.
